  10. Our dear John, I was just 15, you 17, when I met you for the very first time. There was something about that cheeky shy grin, the long hair, and that mischievous personality, we were destined to be friends! Who knew two years later, we would be together and you would be in our lives forever. Taking Taryn as your daughter, Tyson coming along two years later, so many good years to follow for our little family. All of our motorcross trips, our go cart days, so many great memories to hold. Our marriage wasn’t to last, but our love for each other would be with us always. A beautiful man taken way too early. Sleep peacefully dear John, you will be forever in my heart. Lee.

  17. John I already miss your laugh and our chats so much. You were more than a neighbour for many great years. You were a friend with the gentle soul. I’ll miss seeing you in your dressing gown sneaking rubbish into my bin, I’ll miss the little gifts from your overseas trips, and most recently our problem solving around an errant cow who decided to visit you and I a few times. You couldn’t have laughed more when you saw the mess it left for me to clean up. But most of all I will miss the genuine and generous bloke who was always smiling, was always up for the chat and giggle and always true to himself. Rest easy John. Never, ever forgotten. Deepest condolences to the family.

  21. John, you’ve gone way too soon but left your mark within the hearts of many.
My sincerest condolences go out to Taryn, Tyson, Lea and family’s.
You were such a big part of our Victorian life. The MX days were so much fun, our boys competed together and our girls played Barbi’s. You helped all of the kids with their bikes, nothing was ever too much trouble.
I will always remember you as a very kind, generous and fun loving soul, except for the day on our Xmas holiday on the Murray when I nearly blew up the houseboat, you did not see the funny side as did Lea and I.
You came up to the Gold Coast and spent a week with us at Indy time. Whilst wandering the streets in Surfers, drinks in hand when you suddenly bolted into a dress shop, leaving me to get done for drinking in a public place…you were peeking out from behind a dress display in absolute hysterics, still slurping on your beer!
We will always have such fond memories of you John, you’ll never be forgotten.
