  3. Grandad, there is not one simple word that can be used to describe the sorrow we are all feeling for your loss. You were an incredible man and the best Grandad any grandchild could have. The love and attention you showed your great grandchildren will also be remembered by their young minds as you could always grab their attention. Melbourne cup this year will not be the same without you however we will honour you and we know you will be there in spirit with us.
Thank you to both you and Nana for raising such an amazing family that I can be proud to be apart of. You both are the backbone. We will promise to look after Nana for you (and chaos and fifi) and I will ensure that my own grandchildren will know how much of a special person you were.
Love you forever and beyond Grandad xXx

  4. Heaven gained a angel, that I called my ‘Granddad’.
    My Children’s Great Granddad..

Everyone who met him knew what a great man he was.
He had great values in life, love for his family & was the hardest working man.

They say with time the pain eases & one day we will smile together remembering all the memories we had with you.
But for now we can’t help but feel empty & sad thinking of the fact we wont see you again. We won’t see you sitting in your favourite chair or laughing with your Great Grand children who absolutely adored you.

It has been a privilege to call you my Granddad.
RIP & always remember we love you & you will always have a place in our hearts.

  6. No way can you prepare yourself for the death of a loved one, Grandad as unwell as I knew you were, I never expected you to leave so suddenly. Hopefully you are breathing easy now Grandad, was so hard to watch you struggling to breathe, and not be able to help you. You have left us all with a little bit of your knowledge, you were a jack of all trades and a master at your craft, from sewing to building homes, their wasn’t much you couldn’t do, many you taught your trade and they also become handymen just like you.
It won’t be the same without you around, and your presence will be greatly missed, thank you for our conversations and your support with renovating my home, memories I will never forget.
    Rest in peace Grandad 🙏

  15. To all of the Australian family, our thoughts and love are with you. It was so lovely to be able to share the funeral with you all by watching today. There were some lovely photos and tributes to a lovely man. I have very fond memories of my uncle kenny, from being young and when he came over when i was a teenager. I spent a lot of time with him when he was here, i have lots of memories of laughing as he and dad often did, where he would roll his eyes at yet another one of dads jokes. He also educated me on the correct temperature of glasses for tinnies! Even though the UK is cold. I can only imagine from the stories i have been told how annoying dad and jimmy must have been as younger brothers, thank god you had Janet and Rita! He mastered Facebook messenger and that meant we could keep in touch and send photos of Jai in is flannie shirt! You will be missed uncle ken. May you rest in peace knowing how much you were loved. Jemima and family xxxx
