Tributes
  1. Kevin Jackson was a man of unbridled knowledge and character, encapsulated behind a subtle smile and a knowing gaze. Being a soul of un-tapered creativity and natural generalism, his artistic endeavors such as the plethora of poems and stories he formulated, enact as a microcosm into the inner workings of his multiplexed mind, corroborating how he had a modicum of quiet confidence and a lot of love for everything and everyone that has been graced by his presence. Kevin shall be missed by all, not only as an upstanding family man and a great friend, but an understated intellectual. Rest In Peace.

  2. Uncle Kevin, was a gentle soul, that drew beautifully , as a little girl i could watch him for hrs. He always had time to sit and chat over many different subjects, I have such lovely memories of just sitting with him and chatting, he never judged and was always interested in what i was doing. He loved that when i moved to Sydney I started to follow his beloved Swans…Always known as the BLOODS to him. He lived a long and beautiful life that always seemed filled with smiles and happiness. RIP Uncle Kevin, hope you see the rest of our beloved family over the over side xx

  3. Kevin was the top of his class at school and when he finished Sacred Heart Primary school the nuns wanted to send Kevin to St Pats College in Sale as he was so smart and was the top of the school at the time. Due to money restraints he ended up going to Yallourn Tech School where he studied and again excelled. Kevin could of been anything he wanted to be as he was so intelligent but with it he was unassuming and a gentle person and a wonderful brother.

  5. A wonderful friend. Who will write such beautiful Haiku now? His friendship made such a difference in my life and I will never forget his humour and generosity of spirit.

Dear Kevin … “Sleep your last sleep, free from all cares and sorrows. Rest where none weep, and we too shall follow.”

  8. Big Jacko is what me and my little sister called ‘our pop’

Sleepovers at nan and big jackos were one of the things I looked forward to the most growing up. The effort that was made and the special things that were done for us is something I will always remember and cherish. The Lyrer bird walking track was a track we often walked on one of our sleep overs, i would often sook about how tired I was and Big Jacko would just chat to me and point out the beauty of the bush and before I knew it the walk was done. Whenever I would feel ill at school (not always actually sick, sorry Big Jacko!) without fail he would be the one to turn up and take me back to there house and nan would be waiting to care for me.

One of the most gentle, humble and beautiful souls I have been fortunate enough to have had in my life & there is truly not enough words to really describe what a man he was. I will miss you so much Big Jacko, thanks for making such an impression in my life & being the best pop ever. Rest peacefully, until we meet again XO
