  11. So sad to hear that Val had passed away – she really was one of the very best with a heart as big as the ocean. When I started at Moe High, she was quick to take me under her wing and each afternoon as I walked the long corridors to pin up the bulletins, she always asked how my day went. She will be sorely missed by not only her amazing family but by everyone who had the privilege to have known her. To all her family, please accept my deepest condolences … your loss is Heaven’s gain.

  21. Such a lovely lady and a very sad loss.

I have fond memories of riding our bikes to Moe high school with Pete and Angie, dropping them off to be kept safe at Mr and Mrs Deveney’s home, across the road, locked up safely.

Val never failed to smile and say hello for years later. A smile and hello that I’ll never forgot.

My sincere condolences to the Deveney family.

    Reunited with Peter.
