Passed away in Morwell on Tuesday 15 September 2026.

Aged 90.

Loved and loving husband and best friend of Reta (dec.)

Cherished father of Julie and Sandy.

Friend of Paul and Steve.

Devoted grandad of Megan and Andrew, Kate and Glen.

Great grandfather of Elizabeth.

Alan was treasured by his family and was a great friend and support to all of us.

Finally at rest after a long illness.

Huge appreciation and thanks to the dialysis nurses and support workers at LRH.
The Wonderful and compassionate nurses at Maryvale Private Hospital, and special mention and thanks to Dr Trung Quach.

The Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation for Mr Alan Bruce Wilson will be held at Gippsland Memorial Park Rose Chapel, Cemetery Drive, Traralgon on WEDNESDAY, (September 23, 2026) commencing at 2:00 pm.

  3. Alan….. no words can express how much you are missed on the unit. You were such a gentle soul, a beautiful man with a heart of gold!! I always looked forward to a chat and to see what piece of woodwork you were working on next. You always managed to make everyone else smile even when you were having the toughest of days!!

    It was a pleasure and an honour to have known you and to be able to give you the treatment you needed – and you know how much I struggled when it hurt!!

    Thinking of Alan’s family in these hard times.
