  4. To my beautiful loving Aunty Mary, I will forever cherish the wonderful memories growing up staying on the farm. Us kids always loved our adventures to riding the horses, going to the greyhound races, to listening to how much you disliked cooking.

  5. I always loved going to Aunty Mary’ and Geoff’s farm for a weekend. Playing the organ, setting mice traps in the shed and finding them all full in the morning. Cocky calling out “Robert” all day, and playing with the dogs. Jumping on the hay bails and falling down the cracks. Oh and tomato sauce on toast. For breakfast.
She was always helping out at St John’s.
I will always cherish the childhood memories I have. Thank you Aunty Mary

  9. Our thoughts and love to Mary’s family at this sad time.
Mary was a wonderful sister-in-law to us all. She had wicked sense of humour which we enjoyed. The loving care she gave our brother Geoff, our Dad and our Mum was exemplary.
The time Mary gave to St John’s was above and beyond a sense of duty. She loved it because she was doing what she cared most about, helping other people.
    We will remember her always.

  13. Mary was the Godmother to so many staff at Hobson Park hospital, she was always there for us, whether we were just a junior , or someone who’d been nursing or working there for years. Mary, you were loved by all of us, you were a legend.

  15. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there for Mary’s funeral this morning. Mary was a ‘larger-than-life’ volunteer of St John Ambulance (Vic) who was instrumental in training so many other members as well as the public. As a first aider, she attended at public gatherings of all kinds as well as natural disasters like bushfires. Her upbeat, no-nonsense personality and quirky sense of humour made her a popular figure among her peers. Condolences to all of Mary’s family and St John colleagues. Mary, you have been on my mind. May you rest in peace and rise in glory. Love, Gwen
