Absolutely devastated to hear the sad news of our beautiful, kind, fun loving friend Renalda Jones passing away last night 💔
Rennie from the first day i met you 20 years ago we just connected and every time we spoke or saw each other we always ended with the words “Love ya mate”

I loved listening to all your amazing stories about your theatre life on Broadway and Australia.

You had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone.
You absolutely adored your two beautiful boys Jack and Marls.

You my friend have left a massive hole in our hearts 💔

The unforgettable Rennie, our paths very seldom ever crossed over the last 45 years but is was like I saw Rennie every day when I ran into her there was always a smile on her face even though life had thrown some challenges her way, condolences to all her family , a life lived well, RIP

Rennie, we have been friends since you and Jack moved back to Australia from the USA all those years ago.
You moved in with Mary who lived two doors away from me, you slipped so easily into our friendship way back then.
When I moved away from Traralgon we did not see each other a lot but Facebook made the world a smaller place even when it seemed I was ‘lost’.
I have many happy, giggly and varied moments & memories from those Traralgon days.
I remember being at your place having coffee one day and your parents Lucy & Alf arrived and they had bought Jack one of his first guitars so much excitement and laughter was heard and had.
Another memory I have is of Winston your English Bulldog, who I loved, ‘ate’ your wooden garden setting over time!!!!
The early days of Jack’s career beginning and we {Mary, you, me & a couple of other friends} rang the local radio stations asking them to play this ‘new Traralgon singer’s songs’. Jack was on his way.
The reply was, “ So your another Aunty are you?”!!!
Then we went to the Nightclubs The Dome in Traralgon, Shaw’s in Moe & another in Kings Street Melbourne.
Interesting and memorable days/nights having never been to a Nightclub before!!!!
Jack & Marley, you were the ‘Wings beneath your Mothers Wings’. She was incredibly proud of you both and your individual achievements.
I send you both my love and sincere condolences in the passing of your much loved Mum.
Mary, I’m not sure how you move on after losing your only sibling Renalda, but the sun will shine again, the tears will dry up and your priceless memories will fill your heart again as you walk along your special beach with Cheryl by your side and Rennie in your heart.

My great Aunt played a huge part of my life growing up, and as Jack irwin mentioned, I’m known him since he was born. I’ll never forget my uncle Jack driving out to see his sister in Westhampton where they lived, jack wasn’t born yet but that was the first time I got to meet this great woman, we all hit it off. Renalda filled a room with such powerful energy, such an aura and for most of you that knew her she had an incredicble sense of humor and sharp as a tack when in came to whit. She was a shining star…and will continue to burn brightly. We love you Renalda and will miss you immensely. Our hearts go out to Jack & Marley and family
