Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on April 19, 2020 Aged 79 Years.  Loved and loving husband of Jill.

A loving and caring husband, father, poppy & friend.

A Service to celebrate the life of Mr David Watkins will be live streamed from the Salvation Army Citadel  in Traralgon on THURSDAY (April 23, 2020) from 11.00 am.

    From our motorbike trips and conversations, our ups and our downs, to our amazing musicianship together I can’t explain how much more I could go and say.
    You were and are still my loving and caring father, who I will always cherish and love each and every day still like you are still here with us.

    I will miss you so so much and always love you for you and who you are. I will miss playing in a band or just playing music with just the two of us, will miss your cheeky laughs and your absolute funny humour.

    It’s so sad to hear that you have passed away but don’t think you will be forgotten because there is no way that will happen. You had a huge effect on so many people’s lives and that’s what made you do important and special to so many people.

    As a son and student I say rest in peace my loving father and sencee.

Dad you were my World and you never judged me you always loved me unconditionally You brought me up with a love of Music and also of Brass Bands I loved the times that when we were together we would play our Instruments in the Salvation Army Brass Bands. Singing in the Songsters and at home sing our duets from time to time. You never let me forget about belonging to the Salvation Army and reminding me that God Loved Us All. I’ll miss our video chats together and seeing your smiles upon face. You always made jokes that constantly went over my head. When I needed you most in my life as a child at the age of 9 you were there for me this I thank you very much. Mac was proud to be your Son Inlaw and I’m so happy you got to meet him. Goodbye Dad until we see you again someday we will never forget you love Gay and Mac xxx
