Passed away in Kalamunda, Western Australia on Tuesday 5 November 2024.
Aged 81 years.
Late of Driffield, Morwell and Hazelwood North.
Loving husband of Helen.
Son of Patrica and Andrew (both dec.)
Father of Rebecca and Andrew.
Grandfather of Erika and Louis.
Following the service and interment of ashes, attendees are invited at lunch at the Travellers Rest Hotel, 1 Station Street, Thorpdale at 12.30pm.

September 28, 2025My dear old Dad, we miss you more than words can say. Once, a few years ago your sister Judy, with a twinkle in her eye, joked with you that “we will have fun at your funeral” She was referring to all the stories we would share and the laughs we’d have as we remembered you. Of course we didn’t have a fun at your funeral afterall, we were too sad, but I think this memorial at Hazelwood , and the lunch afterwards will be a celebration of your amazing life and your giving spirit, so we will laugh at things you did and said while you were here and remember so many good times, crazy adventures and moments of care. we will be forever grateful that you were our Dad, our husband, our brother, our Pa and friend. Love really is eternal.
October 8, 2025My big brother! It was a privilege to speak at your memorial today. I have lots of memories I didn’t share but you were a very special man. You were a mentor and friend to many but both those a wonderful Uncle especially to Luke. His years working in Japan with Andrew were incredible. Judy Surmaan
