You passed away quickly and so peacefully. Our hearts are broken. I am going to miss my beautiful partner in crime. As sisters we shared our hopes and dreams. Heartfelt condolences to you all. Lida was my first boss at Safeway in the 80’s. She watched over us kids like a mother hen but kept us in line when needed. Very caring and beautiful lady. Such fond memories of those days. Thank you.

I hadnt been directly in touch lately but in 2008 I had a big reunion in Moe called “Pat and friends reunion” and your mum was at all three function s.. I am also still in touch with Ineka…who contacted me at midnight the night Mum passed away… I am sure I have already posted a message to you. I send my heartfelt condolences to you all. I have just watched the funeral online and it was so beautiful . The Celebrant at the end said you had some cards made in her memory and if any one wanted one to contact you .Could I please have one My address is 119 Hillcrest Avenue NOWRA NSW 2541…I moved from Moe to Nowra in 1972 and have been here ever since. May you forever rest peacefully and fly with the Angels. Lida you have a beautiful spirit and I will always remember how kind you were to me when I stayed with you in Bairnsdale. We prepared dinner together and I peeled maybe too many apples, trying to get the skin off without it breaking – because that meant that I would get married one day. You arranged a collection of barbie dolls for me to play with which I loved as I didnt have any Barbies. Always caring and supportive.
A wonderful mother and friend. You will not be forgotten.
