Your legacy as reflected in your artistic creations and the loving nature shown by your grand children is a testimony of your endearing qualities.
To all the Timmins family we deeply and sincerely share your grief and sadness at this time and we offer our love and embrace. Karel & LizMy childhood dreams of having a pony and riding all came true (time and time again), because of you Michele. I still remember that day you invited me for a ride on Silver and I never wanted to get off. How you convinced my dad to get my first pony speaks volumes of your wisdom! I have endless incredible memories with you and your beautiful family, and I’ll be forever grateful for them. I’m so sad I couldn’t tell you this more recently, but I think you knew, thank you Michele. Rest easy, love you dearly. Sending all my love to Norm, Rachel, Alyce, Jack and all the extended family xxx

September 28, 2026We first met Michele at play group with Rachel and Adam, as babies . We were instantly friends , and shared many great times together with the children growing up. Michele would organise for us to go up the bush together and boil the Billy and have damper that she made. She painted some beautiful pictures for me on plates and canvas , which are very special to me. Michele , you will be forever in our hearts, and we will miss you dearly. Deepest Sympathy to Norm, Alyce, Jack and Rachel and all extended families. Love from Jenny, Trev, Jonathon, Adam and Tristan. xoxo

September 29, 2026In Loving Memory of Aunty Michele
Although we didn’t get to see Aunty Michele often, whenever she came back to New Zealand, she always made the effort to see us. Those visits meant a lot and gave us memories that we will carry with us.
September 30, 2026
She was a happy and fun-loving lady with a huge love for animals and a special place in our family.
Gone but never forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Aunty Michele. ❤️
Love from us all back home XSo sad to read this news. I remember a lovely lady with a beautiful smile. A kind and considerate person that radiated a natural warmth. I had the privilege of being invited to your wedding. I had the privilege of you visiting me when Alyce was born. It is easy to lose touch as life can take you in different directions. Michele, you will never be forgotten as you have left an indelible legacy on your family, friends, and in this world. My sincere condolences to Norm and family, and all extended family members. You always made me feel very loved, treasured and part of the family. I was very lucky to have many trips and adventures with you and Rach, all sharing a beautiful friendship and our love of nature and art. I loved having a good chat and spending time with you hanging out at the farm and everywhere else.
Michelle, thankyou for your love and friendship and all the times we all spent together, an inspiring, beautiful woman inside and out, with the sweetest heart and a soul of an artist and adventurer. May you shine on in all of our hearts and memories.
With Love to Norm, Rachel, Alyce, Jack, Clinton, Isje, Grandchildren and family and friends of Michelle and the Timmins xxMichele we will miss the trips down memory lane. Your time with us as part of our family has always been one of so many special memories of fun moments and laughter and things we got up to as kids. Michele loved the outdoors and camping. We were either camping down the back of the farm in a makeshift shelter and getting soaked because of heavy rain overnight or sleeping in the hay barn, waking up covered in insects crawling all over us. We would then make a beeline for the house into our comfortable beds. Any talk of camping after these episodes consequently was met with a wide berth or quietly disappearing. Remembering your first horse Amigo and how you would get up early before school to feed and water him. As we say goodbye MIchele we will always be thankful for having you as part of our lives. Miss you already, God bless, Rest in Peace Michele. Love Kaye, Jens and Family

October 11, 2026**My beautiful Mum,**
It is so hard to find the words to say goodbye to you.
You weren’t just my mum; you were my best friend.I could talk to you about anything, and I always knew you would be there to listen, offer your words of wisdom, give me one of your beautiful smiles, and wrap me in a loving cuddle.
We shared so many wonderful times together, and I will treasure those memories forever. Some of my happiest memories are our horse riding adventures through the local bush—Holy Plains and Harriers Swamp—and our horse camps at Gormandale and Pony Club. We shared a love of horses and the Australian bush that gave us so many special moments together.
Then there were our travels, including our trips to New Zealand and Cairns, and all those simple social moments that meant so much—sitting together by a fire, enjoying Billy tea, or dressing things up with a beautiful high tea. It didn’t really matter what we were doing; what made those times special was being together.
Mum, you were always my biggest supporter.
You helped shape the person I am today. Through the Christian morals and values you instilled in me, you guided me as I grew into a woman, a wife, a mum, a nurse and a horse rider. Your influence is woven through so many parts of my life, and I will carry those values with me always.
I will especially miss your little pearls of wisdom. When I am riding, I know I will still hear your voice saying, “Watch that there.” I’ll remember your explanations that helped me understand the boys, your encouragement to advocate for myself, and the countless pieces of advice you gave me throughout my life.
And behind all those words was always your love—a smile, a cuddle and the reassurance that Mum was there.
I am so blessed to have had you as my mum and to have shared 71 years of your beautiful life.
Although I wish with all my heart that we could have had more time, I know that everything you taught me, every adventure we shared, every conversation, every laugh and every cuddle will remain a part of me.
When I ride through the bush, sit beside a warm fire, make a Billy tea, enjoy a high tea, or simply need some words of wisdom, I know I will think of you.
Thank you for being my mum.
Thank you for being my best friend.
Thank you for believing in me, supporting me and loving me.
I will carry you with me wherever I go.
I love you for a thousand years and more.
Until we meet again, Mum.
All my love, always,
Alyce xxoo
