Sophie, we are still in disbelief. 57 years of friendship with this beautiful lady. So many card nights and dinners with the Tyers friends. So much fun and sharing of our lives in our Nursing School 33. You always had so much class. Our reunions will be so much poorer without you. Love to your family from Ron, Gloria and family.

Sincere condolences to Sophie’s family at this sad time. Fond memories of Sophie, initially, some 34 years ago at Kiama Kindergarten where she worked. I don’t know how but Sophie never forgot a name and everyone was always greeted with her beautiful warm smile.

Dear Sophie, we had a friendship that started 57 years ago when 11 of us were thrown together in School 33 at CGH. That friendship continued with reunions, lots of chatter, support, food and the odd wine or 2. That friendship resumed after the each reunion. To Sophie’s daughters and grandchildren, she was so proud of you. Although I never met you, I felt like I knew you, I shall treasure the memory of that friendship. Oh Soph you are missed so much already. I spent 20+ years with this lovely Lady. Soph would greet everyone with her beautiful smile. She was perfect Mother hen trying to keep her 4 little chicks out of danger. She could not do enough for her chicks. We were good friends right up to end. Gie and I will miss you so much. It is my greatest sadness for the loss of my beautiful sister Sophie Swan (Zofia nee Frasunek ) the youngest daughter of Jozef and Anna Frasunek.

Sophie and I were true friends. We frequently wrote long letters to each other. Then talked at length from the telephone booth, home phone and in modern times the mobile phone wherever we were. We had laughs, we consulted and counselled each other; Sophie always ended on a positive note.

Sophie loved and is loved by her four beautiful children of many talents and her four grandchildren, also her extended families and many friends: a colourful life.

Sophie, you have left us unexpectedly, but you have left us with your love. In time we will meet you in your Heavenly home, happiness forever with the Lord. Look upon us and pray for us. Till then we will cherish your memory. RIP
