Love Barry Heather Thomas James and Liam DickesonA lady who loved to do her art, a seat in the sun, a book in her hand, or listening to Henry Lawson short stories and poems, rabbit stories was another favourite. Reminiscing of the farm at Ensay, days with her dad. A very independent & interesting lady I had the privilege to get to get to know. Sincere Condolences to Joans family. Tracy former Carer.
September 10, 2020A hard working and lovely woman who was ahead of her time.

What a truly amazing life she lead. I certainly didn’t realise she was a musician, an artist and runner of such high standards, along with the things I did know about her. My cats were some of her patients over the years. We always learn so much more of a person at funerals … it just seems to be the way it is.
I’m sure Joan will be sadly missed by her large family, but you can all certainly smile that she did lead such an industrious and loving life.
May she rest peacefully with Roy and Linton.
Kind regards from Lyn and Daryl Rawson and family.I watched the service online over the weekend.

Joan – what an amazing person who lived a remarkable life. The impact that she had will not be forgotten.
In many ways she was the “Australian Story”.
