  12. Dad, you left us quietly and peacefully which was how you would have preferred if. I will always carry memories of a very complex, intelligent and humorous papa bear. You loved me unconditionally, encouraging and offering wise counsel when I asked for it. I have so many memories of my childhood with you, songs, friends, the shed, then your transformation into a beautiful Christian man. You and mum showed us all how to be kind, loving and gracious to all who crossed your path.
You missed your family back home in Northern Ireland and shared many memories with us – I will eventually get there and see if all for myself.
Thank you for always being there, loving myself, Jason, Joel and Rhys and then Kaylah and little Finlay.
I have great sadness that I never got to say goodbye but I am glad you are reunited with mum in Heavens beautiful gardens.
I am blessed you were my da.. until we meet again I will never stop loving you and smiling as I think of all we shared.
Love you to the Moon and back again

  19. Dave, I met you when I was a young kid and eventually became your brother in law. You could be a grumpy old sod, but you also had a great of gold. I had great times in the garage listening to the bombers, listening to you try to sing and trying to teach me to play better darts to beat Frank. They were great times and forever memories. Times move fast and it’s been awhile since we last chatted although the girls kept me updated to your antics.
It was a pleasure to have known you and may you RIP with you beautiful wife Yvonne.
