  1. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Al, a gentle mannered man who always had a smile for everyone. I first met Al many years ago when he and his wife regularly delivered meals on wheels to my Dad, then in more recent years, enjoyed his company playing table tennis with the Keenagers. He will be greatly missed. Rest peacefully Al.

  4. Such a gentleman, Al and Margaret were much loved members of Moe RSL. Al asked me one day, “what is the RSL’s phone number?” I told him, “51271 James Bond, 007” he laughed, years later I saw him in the street, he grabbed my hand, “51271, James Bond 007, best way to remember a phone number, so pleased to see you” a lovely man.

  8. Sincere condolences to Al’s children and grandson. A true gentleman. He was always happy to have a chat with you and interested in what you had to say. It was fun playing doubles with Al or against him in table tennis as a member of the Moe/Newborough Keen-Agers Club. He had a wicked serve. Excellent at keeping score . A beautiful man, team player, cheeky laugh,, a beautiful smile and a zest for life. We will miss him dearly. RIP Al.
