URE, Ruth Victoria (née Hewlett)

Born on February 25, 1932. Passed away January 24, 2026.

Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, at Salisbury House, Upper Beaconsfield.

Loving wife of George, 68 years (dec).  Much loved and loving mother and mother-in-law of David and Jennet, Barbara and Michael, Judith and Owen, Murray and Kathryn.  Loved and treasured by her grandchildren, Kim, Alex, Astan, Alan, Matthew, Christopher, Adam, Stewart, Justin, Angus and Sophie and great grandchildren, Evelyn, Tyler, Declan, Isaac, Morgan, James, Elliot, Finley and Callan.

Ruth lived a full and productive life, devoted to her family and friends.  A dedicated teacher, keen gardener and avid family historian.  Much of her life was spent in service to others in her community and church.

Remembered with love.

The funeral of Mrs Ruth Ure will be held at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 34 Fowler Street Moe, on TUESDAY (February 3rd, 2026) commencing at 11.00am.

At the conclusion of the service the funeral will leave for the Moe Memorial Park Lawn Cemetery
