To Alan and Eleanor,,,your mum brought so much love and joy to those that knew her. Your mother was always there for my mum through the good days and the sad ones when mum was in treatment for cancer or at home needing a friend. I was very sad to hear of Mrs Roncan’s passing. She was very influential and had a significant impact upon my life and choice of career. I often think about her when I go about my work and how my connection with her and Frankie was pivotal in my life directions.May 13, 2020
A lovely and determined lady who entrusted Franky to my class at Newborough East PS as he was beginning his education in pre-integration/special needs program days. Both of them are remembered with great fondness. Margaret GaultonMay 13, 2020

A beautiful lady that was a good friend to my mother when they were founding members of Moe & District Friends of the Disabled. Maria the love you showed to all who attended events was evident and I am so glad that you were so good to my mum and Ian but also to me. You taught me so much. I will never forget the part you and the adorable Frankie played in my life. Rest easy now with your boy. xxMay 13, 2020

Lots of love
Eleanor and Terry
I extend my most heartfelt sympathy to Alan, Eleanor, Terry and family. Our beautiful cousin Maria touched all our lives in so many ways and I, for one, owe my career as an education support teacher and coordinator in mainstream schools to her, as her passion for inclusion made such a profound impression on me. Maria was most loving and kind and treasured her extended family, both here and in Italy. I will miss my dear friend. Rest In Peace, Maria. xxxMay 13, 2020

Ciao bella. Cousin Marilena
I met (through the Net) Maria only in September 2017 on the occasion of a mournful event. I discovered a wonderful person, intelligent, affectionate and linked not only to his closest affections, but also those of his origins in Italy. From that date we exchanged messages and some photos on the occasion of anniversaries or family events. It was a great pain to receive the news of his death. I’ve watched the video of the funeral ceremony, and I’ve appreciated it very much. The simplicity, the choice of images, the songs, and the commemorative text of Eleanor who whas able to tell Maria’s life in a few minutes, an intense, full and uncommon life that lasted almost a century. Maria will be in the memory of the many people who have loved her and who have known her. And it will be a sweet memory. My thoughts are close to you all.May 13, 2020
