  9. Daw Daw as far back as my memory goes you were a part of my life. Me going to Aunty Vi and Uncle Stan’s to watch the Mickey Mouse Club and waiting for you to come home from school.
I remember when you hid me under the desk at the telephone exchange so your boss wouldn’t know you were babysitting me at work.
Not that long after I had pleasure of babysitting your four beautiful children in return, a gig that lasted for many years.
Melissa, Simon, Jason and Brent my heart goes out to you, so many wonderful memories of Dawn over a lifetime.

  13. My beautiful Mum 🌺
I can’t even begin to imagine a life without you in it.
For as long as I can recall we have spoken almost daily and the thought of not hearing your voice again just crushes me.
Thankyou for always being my biggest supporter and sounding board. Thankyou for loving my family as much as you loved me, that means more than I can ever express. In return they loved you back just as much. You were always there for all the big moments, even holding my first born before me.
You were always so proud of all of our kids achievements no matter how big or small. You loved nothing more than to hear about what they were up to now.
This was supposed to be your time to get out and enjoy yourself after years of supporting Dad through his cancer battles and the fact that we’re here only 9 months after Dad passed away feels so very unfair.
I’m thankful we’ve had so much time together (especially over) these last few months, it gave us all an opportunity to just be together and share so many memories. Memories that will now feel even more precious.
I love you so much and I’m so proud of how you took everything in your stride, never complaining.
    Rest peacefully Mum xxx

  24. Moe Dance Eisteddfod (past and present committee members) would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Dawn’s death and to pass on our condolences to her family.
Dawn was a Life Time member of the Moe Dance Committee. She, along with Chris Ross, could be found at Eisteddfod time overseeing the Secretary /Timing desk, making sure music didn’t run over time, consulting rules when required and generally making sure the administrative side of the Eisteddfod week ran as smoothly as possible. Dawn will be remembered for her friendly, smiling face and her years of service to MDE.
    RIP Dawn
