RITCHIE, Anne Maree (née Milledge)

Here I am looking back on many years of friendship, not only from attending craft at Morwell U3a but sewing at your house in Yinnar with a few “chosen “ ladies on a Sunday afternoon, with cakes and laughter but also listening to yours and my grizzle’s and problems…and also solving them. So my dear friend here’s love and thanks to you for all those years we had together.

I found Anne to be a very generous person, generous with her time and consideration. Anne helped David and I a few times , looking after our Down Syndrome son, Alec, when we both had to work. Alec loved being with Anne, she always gave him her full attention and love, and tried to teach him whatever she could. We will always be in her debt.

Anne was one of a kind. She could be grumpy, she could be sassy, and she always kept us on our toes, but above all, she made us laugh. Her quick wit, cheeky comments, and unmistakable personality brought so much character and warmth to our days.

Anne had a special way of making her presence known, and life at Heritage Manor will not be quite the same without her. We will fondly remember the smiles she brought to our faces, the laughter she shared, and the many moments that made her so unique.

On behalf of the staff and residents at Heritage Manor, we extend our sincere condolences to Anne’s family and loved ones. We are grateful to have known her and will cherish the memories she leaves behind.

Rest peacefully, Anne. You will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
