You were such a lovely gentleman, and I will be eternally grateful for your support. I’ll never forget our last conversation at presentation night, and I’ve made a promise to follow your advice.

I’ll be thinking of you when I have my first post-game drink at APEX my friend, as I will every game after that. Hopefully we can win a flag in your honour next season.

Mattress was a great clubman and tireless worker for the Gormandale Football Club who also just happened tc be one of the nicest guys you could wish to meet.He was always up for some friendly banter when it came to his beloved Centrals Cricket Club. ….Love to Desma and extended family.

So grateful for the time and care you always gave to everyone in our family Paul, you were much loved and will be missed by all.
