So sad to lose such a lovely lady and a fair dinkum old Moe-ite! Knew the O’Reilly family from back in the 60’s and what a lovely family they were! Marg never hesitated to stop and have a chat in the supermarket and back in the 70’s we almost became neighbours in Smallburn Ave!

Such a happy and sincere lady who I enjoyed playing golf with years ago at Moe. Marg shared a cabin with my late sister-in law Marj when travelling to Australia and I heard they were very glad of each other’s company. Condolences to Les and Chris.

I have fond memories of visiting Uncle Les and Aunty Margaret as a child, being greeted with warm outstretched arms and friendly smiles. Margaret was always the life of the party and made me feel welcome and appreciated. A wonderful lady who will be sadly missed.

Our sincere condolences to all the Passey family. Marg was a wonderful wife, a wonderful mother, a wonderful grandmother, a wonderful friend and we will all miss her terribly. Marg loved life and everyone loved Marg. We are going to remember the fun times we shared. Rest in peace Marg. So sad we will be unable to attend the funeral as we will be overseas, however our thoughts will be with you all.

An amazingly intelligent woman who shared her gifts with all, especially the grandkids. A very welcoming and caring mother in law who not only loved me, but also the wider family (especially my mum Anna). Those two had a great bond even with the language barrier. Will be sorely missed by all.

My Nanna always taught me morals, like being kind and respectful to everyone and to constantly be curious, and most importantly, don’t snatch. Nanna was always delighted to take me around her hometown of Moe, whether it was the library, the park or the swimming pool. She taught me manners which my parents found evident whenever I returned from a stay at her house. She was the kindest and most loving person I knew and she was an even better Nanna. I am saddened that you will not be here to see me grow up and the impact you had on me. Love your grandson Kye

Happy memories of a night in Perth with Rohan, Joanne, and our Jennie and Barbie. A night of laughter much laughter and fun. Les, I hope ia consolation knowing how much everyone loved Margaret. Sandie and Greg.

Nanna was full of love, kindness, and compassion. She was the strongest and wisest person I knew. She cared so deeply for us grandkids, always letting us be ourselves, supporting us through thick and thin, and simply being present. She was always doing activities with us, making every moment special, whether it was something big or small. The tickles, the games, the trips to the library and movies, the knitting, and just the talks about life and all the time she spent with us are memories I’ll always cherish. Nanna always took the time to listen and love. If I become even half the woman she was, I’ll consider myself incredibly fortunate. I will miss her dearly.❤️❤️
