  9. I only met Aunt Pat a few times, when she visited Malta with my Uncle John and a few years back in Mulhouse for a family wedding which unfortunately turned into a funeral. She seemed to me to be a positive person trying to keep a smile in those circumstances. May God embrace her &join her beloved in Heaven 💕

  13. A grandmother to me when I didn’t have one.

I’ll never forget the ritual of watching 60 Minutes together in the lounge room on a Sunday evening when I was an early teenager.

Pat taught me that there was more to the world than what I’d seen and been exposed to. She taught me how to question things, and most importantly, be kind.

I’ll never forget the incredible kindness Pat showed me as a child. I’m grateful for having her in my life.

  19. A truly inspirational friend to me while at the LVCH Nursing Home at Newborough and its successor, Narracan Gardens.
Lots of fun, absolutely devoted to the well being of her patients and the staff who worked there. A fine example of deep faithfulness to her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ whom she met in the Holy Mass and who she shared unstintingly with all and sundry. In so many ways a saint of our time.
Sincere sympathy to all her sorrowing family.

  25. Nanna Pat,

I’ll never forget how much you loved when we went to the cricket, even if you ended up dancing with the Sri Lankan fans!

Or switching between ABC24 to any trivia TV show (not to mention the admiration you had for Eddie McGuire)!

There’s so much of you that lives on through others; whether it’s our passion for sport, trivia, comedy (did I mention David Strassman’s Ted E. Bare and Chuck?) and I want to continue in the same way with how you always showed great love, encouragement and support for people.

    Love you Nanna.
