  7. Brendan, a good mate, kind, caring, nothing was a fuss, easy going guy. He was a valuable part of our SYC social committee for many years. If something needed building, he did it. One in particular was the Eiffel Tower he made for our ‘Touch of French Ball’ which I think was auctioned off it was that good. Sailing and partying with Brendan was always great fun. A good mate, gone too soon. RIP Brendan. You will be sorely missed. X

  17. Brendan was quietly strong, endlessly patient, and full of love. He had a gift with the ability to make people feel truly acknowledged, not through grand gestures, but through his presence, his gentle smile, and the steady way he showed up for others.

His hands told stories of craftsmanship, care, and pride. Whether he was shaping wood into something beautiful or building boats, there was a quiet grace in everything he created. His carpentry wasn’t just a skill, it was an extension of his character with precise, grounded, and deeply thoughtful.

His legacy is not only in what he made with his hands but also in the kindness and calm. I will cherish our memories.

    Love, Szeman
