My sincere condolences and heartfelt prayers are with your family. You will always be remembered with love.

  10. Bev had a tremendous impact on my family’s life, as she did on many others. For us, she was our home, our extended family, my Aussie grandma who cared for me since I was born. Even before my birth, Bev helped my family find a place of belonging in a new and foreign country. She welcomed us like we were a part of her family, involving us in her family traditions, the most memorable being Christmas. Christmas at Bev’s was something my family and I looked forward to each year for several years. Through her, I began to create a vision of a kind of family I long to have one day.

I will never forget her warmth, the way she embraced you like you mattered, her voice that would lighten up your day, her storytelling, especially her impeccable memory for remembering the fine details most people forget. Her infectious smile, her laughter that filled the room with so much joy and happiness. Bev, you are and always will be so precious to us. Although we will always miss you greatly, I know you are now at peace, reunited with Jack, Robin, and many of your loved ones.

I will forever cherish the time we had together and look forward to exchanging these precious moments again one day.

With much love to Bev and all the family.

  13. Bev, you were my Aussie nanny and you’re in most part of my childhood memories.
My first sleep over was at yours and you taught me how to slice a toast into quarter slices. That’s how I get my son’s toast done today.
Thank you for treating me and my family like your true family.
You’ll be missed but will always be in our hearts.
