MOODY – Shelia Ivy (née Brooker)

Born on December 19, 1929. Passed away July 30, 2022.

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at St Hilary’s, Morwell on Saturday 30 July 2022.

Aged 92 years.

Beloved wife of Arthur (dec).

Loved sister of Margaret (dec) and Patricia.

Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Tamara & Alan and Jodi & Peter.

Beloved Nana to Todd & Kristie and Tristen.

Great Nana Shelia to Ryan, Scarlett and Violet.

 

Always remembered and in our hearts.

 

Funeral Notice
Gippsland Memorial Park - Traralgon Cemetery Drive, TraralgonView Map
The Funeral Service for Mrs Sheila Ivy Moody will take place at the Rose Chapel, Gippsland Memorial Park, Traralgon on Tuesday 9th August 2022 commencing at 1.30pm.

Following the service, the Funeral will stay in the grounds of the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park for a burial service.

  2. In the 1980s I discovered Shiela and I had an ancestor in common, John Burkinshaw, a convict of which we were both proud.
    I then met up with Shiela at Maryvale Probus and benefitted from the excellent tours and day visits she capably organised..

    Shiela , we were always friendly having our ancestor in common and I appreciated our friendship.

  5. I spent every Wednesday morning with Sheila for 8 years as her home carer . And also sitting in her garden having a chat . Such a highly intelligent woman that I Learnt so much about our local history and metung .
