Passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday 24 February 2024. Aged 95 years.

Loved and loving wife of Arthur (dec.)

Loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Eamonn & Lara, and Damian.

Cherished Grandma of Niamh, Sabine and Poppy.

A gentle lady now in God’s care.

 

 

Funeral Notice
St. Michaels Catholic Church Church Street, TraralgonView Map
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mrs Mary Montague will be offered at St Michaels Catholic Church, Church Street Traralgon on FRIDAY (March 01, 2024) at 2.00 pm.

At the conclusion of Mass the Funeral will leave for the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park Cemetery Drive, Traralgon.

Mary's service will also be livestreamed.

I have fond memories of Mary; Irish dancing in Traralgon, many events with the Irish-Australian club,, cups of tea with Mary and Arthur at home, seeing Mary at mass or down the street and stopping to say hello.   9. I still have memories as a 5 year old child of auntie Mary leaving Ireland all those years ago
    I would have loved to have been able to have spend a little more time a couple of years ago when I went to visit her it was a special moment and sad that we had to leave so quickly but still very special
    Auntie Mary (I called her my great auntie Mary because she was great and will be forever remembered) by me and I believe that by every one that knew her

    I have very fond memories of Mary when she would visit Ireland different times when I was growing up and I often think of the time I got to spend with her when I was living in Australia.
