Bill loved life. He loved family & family history. He cooked a beautiful lamb roast in the wood fired oven in the garage. He knew how to celebrate life. He will be remembered for his humour & generosity. My love and sympathy to Isabelle Janina John Brendan Jasper & all the extended family

Vale Billy. Lots of wonderful memories come flooding back of good times especially in our late teens & early 20’s. You drove me to the church the day I got married – precious! Many evenings spent at our place with lots of story telling, jokes & laughter. we then caught up recently again when Bernie was ill & spent an afternoon reminiscing and catching up also sharing our love of fishing and in the same rivers near Bairnsdale. You will be sadly missed by all of this crew but very fondly remembered.

I will never forget the first day I met Bill when we moved into a rental so many years ago. He was kind and interested in us foreigners. Our relationship grew over the years and it was with great sadness that we heard the news. he was a friend, always had a smile, and always gave the best advice. RIP, you will be missed.
