  3. Everyone in Rosedale knew Avice. Mrs Marsh. She knew our names and which family we belonged to. She would chat. It did not matter if you were shy or grumpy or intent on getting to the shops. Everyone was “darling” and that was because she was interested and she cared. So it was special. She would appear on her bike when I was little and later when I was pushing my own children in a stroller and then later still she would stop and chat. Always the same , always interested.
Condolences to Heather and Joy and families, Barbara (Kase)

  4. Condolences to all of Avices Family and friends.
Mum and Avice will be up there having cups of tea and playing bingo. Mum was so sorry she could not stay for Avices 100th, she told her that the day before she left us. Avice was always at the events early with a seat saved for Mum. I’m sure mum has been saving one for Avice since last August. Sorry I could not be there today. She would be so proud, it was a lovely service.
