JOAN ..We met as neighbours sitting out on our front porches in the sun you were playing the Eagles full noise on your stereo I said great choice in music , you said ya want a cuppa & just like that we become friends , but more than just friends , you become like a second mum to me after my mum passed you gave a shoulder to lean on & full of helpful advice & for that I will always hold a special place in my heart . On behalf of the family i would like to thank everyone for there condolences, well wishes, kind words & support. It means so much to us all at this sad time. Mum we love you so much & are never going to be able to fill the massive hole you have left in our hearts. Your no nonsense, not suffering fools lightly approach to life was hard work at times, but mum that was you, You owned it & i wouldnt change that for anything. If you were lucky enough to be apart of mums circle you knew underneath all that there was a loyal heart of gold. Im so glad bryce gave you the chance to be a proud grandma, thats all you ever wanted was someone to spoil & although it has cruelly been cut short i know your beautiful girls were your world. No words can express the sadness I feel for my late brother and his wife, Bob & Norma, and their much loved, close family on the loss of my beloved niece Joan. I remember well when she was a little girl chasing her cat and calling “get off the garden Tiddles!” It was so cute. Because of the travel distance between our families, we weren’t able to spend a lot of time together. Hence, my family, Jack & Angela; Grant, Juanita & Troy; Richard, Em & Ty; and Karl & Patrick, really didn’t get to know Joan and her family very well. However the times we did see each other were full of fun and laughter. Rest In Peace dear Joan, you are now with your mum and dad.
