Tributes
  1. To my dear Santolo (Godfather) Uncle Johnny,

    You were one of a kind with your gentle heart. You always showed your love to me throughout my childhood years and in all my older years we shared lifelong memories together whenever I could visit you and Aunty Rita in Moe.

    To Santola Rita (Godmother), Alf, Cathy, David, and to all your families;

    On behalf of me and my family, from all the Lovison families connected to (Peter & Judy) our heartfelt condolences. This is a very sad and difficult time for you all and we’re very sorry to hear about Johnny’s passing. I will miss him very dearly….sigh.

    I have so many fond memories about Uncle Johnny from my childhood years growing up in Yallourn North and when our two families shared meals together from the 1960’s to the 80’s. We had so much fun and we especially loved eating all the fresh fish Uncle Johnny and Aunty Rita would catch from the Shallow Inlet at Sandy Point.

    I will never forget all the fresh garden vegetables and all the wonderful fresh fruit you had home grown in your back yard, you had prepared and cooked for our families as we shared so many delicious meals together. From your home made wine to your bottled fruit, and especially homemade jams, were very special to eat with homemade bread.

    Your garden was such a paradise to see all the beautiful colors, and all those times we shared together are very dear to me, and are very treasured.

    Johnny was such a lovely person, a kind gentleman who always greeted me with a hug or a handshake. I also have lots of fond memories working alongside Johnny when I was a Boilermaker Welder working at the SEC when I worked at Coal Maintenance. It was so special to be able to work alongside with a family member.

    I hope it comforts you to know that your grief is shared by all of us who knew Johnny, he was a wonderful man and he will be sadly missed.

    Love to all,

    Raymond Lovison & family.
