Tributes
  1. Deepest sympathy to Craig, Damian and families.
Jim and I worked together 50+ years ago and as one friend commented recently, we had a great friendship even if it did get a bit fiery at times.
We could go years without contact and just pick up where we left off. In hard times I would get a sympathetic and encouraging phone call from Jim and at the lowest point of my life he rang to offer his condolences and cried with me.
Iā€™m sure we were opposites and happy to be so but we found enough in common to remain good friends for a lot of years.
Jim missed Carmel dreadfully and I believe he has got his Christmas wish, I hope Carmel has too.
He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Jan and Bill Scott. Rest In Peace Jim. šŸŒŗ

  24. I have incredibly fond memories of Jim and Carmel. They have both meant so much to my Mum & Dad – Sue & Roger Vale. When Carmel passed earlier this year, I wrote to Jim passing on my condolences, reminding him how much Mum & Dad had thought of them both as a brother & sister. I received back a beautiful card from Jim, something I will forever treasure. I am so glad Mum & Dad had time with both of them before they passed. I said to Jim to enjoy his children & grandchildren during such a difficult time. I am sure he did. I am glad they are reunited. My sincere condolences to the family. Rest in Peace Jim and Carmel.
