October 2, 2024Bernice, you were a big part of my life when growing up, like my second mum as we were neighbours at Morwell & Coongulla and I lived with you for a month and felt the love, laughs and stories of a big family. Not so keen on all your burnt offerings of food though but you made up for it with your kindness, beautiful laugh, huge sense of family values and friendship to our family and others. Was blessed to visit you last week and know you have gone to be with Ray, the love of your life. Love and condolences to the McWalters & Linton families. Diane, Jim Byrnes & family

Lots of love Katie, Kim and the Lifestyle Team at Heritage Manor xxxHey Lintons, I’m sending loads of love and big hugs as you remember and celebrate Bernie’s amazing life. Thinking about Bernie and your family brings back so many happy memories! Those days at the weir were just the best, weren’t they? I can still picture those awesome BBQs, playing kayake in the dark, and the fun times we dragged a “snake” across the road! It was always such a blast when so many neighbours and friends got together at your place. As a kid, I remember that Bernie had this incredible way of making every one of all ages feel part of things. That meant the world to me. Bernie’s gentle kindness touched so many of us. I’m so grateful for all those wonderful times we shared. Thank you, Bernie and all the Lintons, for the love and friendship over the years. The way you brought people together will always live on in our hearts. Sending love, Jane and the whole Darling Sloyan gang
