Funeral Notice
I first met Julie when we were about eighteen—two young women at the beginning of adulthood, full of dreams and mischief. Our friendship was shaped by the adventures and laughter we shared, and by the wild spirit that Julie brought into every room.
Julie’s life was never dull. With a husband in the rock ‘n’ roll business, there was always music, excitement, and a bit of chaos. We sometimes got up to no good in those early days, but those memories are precious to me, reminders of a time when everything felt possible.
Julie was a devoted mother to her two children, and it was clear to anyone who knew her how much she loved them. Her son Jesse, in particular, was the light of her life, and the bond they shared was something truly special. Jesse adored his mum, and for many years, he was her carer and constant companion. Even through life’s challenges, their love for each other never wavered.
Though I didn’t see Julie as often in recent years, whenever we did meet, it was as if no time had passed. Her warmth and spirit were always there, and I’m grateful for every moment we shared.
My heart goes out to Jesse and the rest of Julie’s family. I’m still in touch with Jesse, and I know how deeply he loved his mum, just as she loved him. I hope he finds comfort in the memories of her love and the knowledge that she will always be remembered fondly by those who knew her.
Julie, thank you for your friendship, your laughter, and your unforgettable spirit. You will be missed, but never forgotten.
Rest in peace.
