RIDDLE, Julie Ruth (née Ward)
With deep sorrow and undying love, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and devoted mother.
Julie passed away peacefully after a short and sudden illness at the Monash Hospital in Clayton on the 13th of April, surrounded in love with Stephen and Brett by her side.
She was a woman of quiet strength, boundless compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.
A cherished wife to Stephen, a loving mother to Brett and Chelley (deceased) and an inseparable sister of Dianne, Julie was the heart of our family – a guiding light whose warmth, kindness and grace touched all who knew her. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her bond with her sister deeply treasured.
She will be fondly remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the countless ways she gave herself to others. Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the beautiful life she lived and the love she leaves behind.
Forever loved, forever missed.
Always in our hearts and on our minds

April 17, 2026Julie, you were one of the most loving and welcoming people we’ve ever known.
We will always remember bringing the kids to your farm and how you made them feel instantly at home — whether it was time spent with you or heading down to see the lambs, those are moments they’ll carry with them for life.
To us, you were always “Aunty Jule” — a name said with love, even as adults.
Thank you for your warmth, your kindness, and the way you made everyone feel like family.
Our heartfelt condolences to Steve, Brett and family.
Forever in our hearts,

April 22, 2026Auntie Julie I have lovely memories from at the farm with the animals, mushie picking, meals together…
You were so good at noticing small things, giving space for other people to be themselves and giving your time and energy to help others. I always admired and appreciated how conscious you were of my feelings and thoughtful you were.
I’m so grateful for how you loved me, and then loved my family as it grew- I still think of you when those op shop beauties come out to be played with or used.Sending all my love to you, uncle Steve and Brett.
Until we meet again ❤️
