  2. Many fond memories of you Marion, you always made me feel welcome anytime I was around at your place and saved me with lifts when stranded on more than one occasion.
You were a true survivor in every sense of the word and had a wry sense of humour and understated intelligence coupled with enormous courage, strength and resilience. May your spirit’s journey now rest in peace.
My love and thoughts to all the family

  3. Mrs J was a big part of many of our teenage years. Her door was always open, and her home in Roberts St, a regular meeting place for Steven’s friends who became hers all well. Some gathering were planned, and just as many not.

She always made people feel welcome, was happy to stop for a chat, and had a calm way of offering advice when it was needed.

She was there for a lot of good memories from those years, and although many of us have moved away, we will remember her fondly.

Thinking of the whole family at this sad time.

  7. Our thoughts go out to the families on the sad loss of Nancye.

We all have lovely memories of fun times and friendship which began as neighbours in Little Crescent and Maskrey Street.

It was lovely for both Mum and Nancye to reconnect during her time at Margery Cole.
They enjoyed a lovely time reconnecting and reflecting on their friendship, going back 50+ years.

We hope Nancye has now found her peaceful place…….🤍🕊️

  8. Our dear friend Marion.
Many a night was spent watching movies, playing cards and studying with Steven at your home. It was a second home for me for such a long time.
It still makes me smile when I think of your steely eyes on any home improvements I did on your house and knowing that you did appreciate it made it all worthwhile.
Then you met Robyn and eventually our two children and become a friend to them as well.
You will always be rembered as part of our little family and we will love you for ever.
Our love goes out to Steven, Nicole, Christine and Lee-anne. xox
