Passed away February 14, 2026.

Born on March 16th, 1944. Passed away peacefully at home.

Aged 81years.

Loving husband to Tonia.

Much loved Father and Father in-law of Tracey and Peter, and Peter and Jennifer.

Adored Grandad of Kelsey and Bailey, Jacob and Bianca, and Sonny(dec).

Though his smiles are gone forever, and his hand we cannot touch, we shall never lose the memories of one we loved so much.

Funeral Notice
The funeral and burial for Mr John Gannon will be held at Saint Aidans Anglican Church, 111 Torres Street Newborough on

WEDNESDAY (February 25th, 2026) commencing at 1.00pm.

At the conclusion of the service we will leave for the Yallourn Cemetery.

At the families request they have asked if you can wear a splash of BLACK and WHITE.

    Our children grew up together and are still friends till this day. You + Tonia were an important part of their childhood memories. We’ll miss seeing you + Tonia walking around Newborough + Moe.

  13. I met John and Tonia in Adelaide in the 70s at Camelec cables where John was a Fitter and Turner and myself an Electrical Fitter. We always worked well together and we remained friends over all these years. He will be sadly missed Peter and Marlene
