Syd would have to be one of the nicest gentlemen we have ever met. I shall miss him coming to the Newborough bowling club to cheer us on and send our heartfelt condolences to the Holland family.May 12, 2020
We are so very sorry to hear of Syd’s passing. Syd was a customer of ours for many, many years and a dear friend. The boys always enjoyed his talks when he waited on his special chair in the workshop for his car to be fixed. I will miss our talks on gardening and his advice on how to get the best out of my tomatoes ( always enjoyed the bag of goodies he bought in for me ) I had great pleasure taking Syd to my house for him to see my garden. I will miss visiting and taking Meg ( my dog ) to see him at the village and supplying Syd with a calendar each year. Our thoughts go out to all the family at this time, he always talked of them lovingly , Our sincere condolences from Kathy, Greg & Craig @ East-West Auto’sMay 14, 2020

Syd ( Plugger)and I have been the greatest of mates since our school days .Sharing great times in our teenage years. The funniest time was the time he lost his teeth in the drain outside the Bunyip Pub and we could not find them .We shared much fun in going to dances checking out the chicks as Plug called them. Uncle Plugger, such an amazing loving, gentle soul. Your smile, happy demeanour and infectious laugh said it all. So many fond memories of family visits and holidays together, fun was had by everyone. I can still hear you telling us stories of when you and Dad were young lads running a muck around the local haunts. You will be sadly missed and live in our memories forever. Love to all the family from Denise Jellis ( Pearson) and girls xxMay 17, 2020
