Len was a dearly loved member of the Hayes family and we will miss him very much.August 22, 2019
He was very close to the late Bob Hayes whose family join in this tribute.
Uncle Len and Aunty Gwen gave me all of my best childhood memories where I spent my school holidays at Pipe Grange. He taught me how to milk a cow, how to ride a motorbike and how to pluck a chook. I am so grateful that he was able to spend his last years at home on the farm surrounded by his children and grandchildren, laughter and love. He enjoyed the company of old and young alike. I’m glad I spent time with him only a few weeks ago at Billy’s first birthday party. On that beautiful day we sat in the sunshine, watching all the babies and toddlers running around his garden, chatting to anyone who pulled up a chair. He was a quiet, kind and gentle man. He worked hard but his life was rich. He has earned his rest.August 26, 2019
Our cousin, Len, was a kind, caring gentleman and although we didn’t see him very frequently we were always welcomed w open arms!August 29, 2019
We loved it when Len & George played their musical instruments after dinner and all chores were done!
