Born on July 12, 1954. Passed away August 25, 2021.

Passed away peacefully with Shirley and Tracey at his side at LRH on the 25th of August 2021 aged 67.

Much loved son of Jim and Shirley (Both Dec).

Loved brother of Shirley and Eddy (Dec).

Loved Uncle of Shane (Dec), Tim and Tracey and their families.

Cherished memories of our happy times together.

Funeral Notice
Due to COVID19 restrictions the Funeral Service for Mr. Barry Harkins will be a private funeral by invitation only

A Service to celebrate Barry’s life will be livestreamed on Friday (3rd September 2021) commencing at 1.30pm.

  8. It is with heavy heart, we say good bye, Baz (Dero) our days of shooting, fishing, will not be the same. His humour and checky smile, often made our day.

    So many memories of a great mate & neighbour, we will miss the cans over the fence or in the shed, the working bees & shoot days at the club. Duck hunting, camp’s , Jack Smiths & other fishing trips. Target shooting forays into “enemy ” territory & the never-ending yarns. Till the next time mate..

    You were my first mentor in the work life,,you drove me to work every day for 2 years…. Don’t be late or I’m leaving you!!
    you taught me how to drive manual “effectively” and my last fond memory, two years ago just having a beer at 8am in your driveway. And having a laugh that it only took you 5 years to paint your fence!!
