So proud to have had you as my father-in-law, as it always felt so natural and comfortable calling you Dad. Even though distance separated us, I always felt your love and every time we spoke on the phone the conversation always ended with you telling us that you loved and missed us. Will always cherish that last phone call which ended with those words of love. Such a kind and gentle man with such a big warm heart we will truly miss you. Such a privilege to have called you Dad. A true gentleman with a heart of gold. A man full of compassion, empathy and understanding and always willing to help others. A hardworking man, a great Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather who loved spending time with his Grandkids. He missed Mum so much but now he can be reunited with her. As granddaughter of his sister Ruth, and daughter of his nephew Ian, I have very fond memories of Uncle Clyde, especially his numerous visits to Sydney.
