Born on the 06-03-1931 in Cymgwrach South Wales. Passed away on the 18-06-2021 at Bupa, aged 90 years. Loved daughter of Betty and Morgan (both dec). Loving wife of Ray (dec). Adored mother and mother-in-law of Diane and Paul, Carol and Nino (dec), Trevor and Rean, Michelle and Ian (dec). Loved and adored Nana of Pam, Paul, Mary, Melanie, Niree, Evan, Olivia, Adam and Sydney. Great Nana of Jacob, Anthony, Joshua, Mikayla, John, Alexandra, Harry, Archie, Cooper, Oliver and Charlie. Great Great Nana of Mason. Extended family of Ken, Andrew, Natasha, Brendan, Ian, Leigh, Melina, Angela, Amy and Cassie.

Mum you were a talented artist, nurse, dressmaker, gardener, and your love for Wales was renowned.

The Funeral of Mrs Rita Mary Gilbert will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway, Traralgon on THURSDAY (June 24, 2021) commencing at 1.00pm

At the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park.

  5. Dear Rita, our roads crossed once at a pivotal time when our families became one. Upon meeting you, you were and always are a light in my and so many people lives. We laughed, shared and we joked together. You are and will always be mother, grandmother and great grand mother. And to me you are always someone i really had the pleasure of meeting. Thank you for being part of my life and the Monfils familia. My heart and love comes with Trevor. And to all the familia i am so sorry. Lose is celebrated through our memories. Be well as best as we can be.
