Don, you were a lovely soul. It was always nice to see you and have a good chat. I will miss your stories and your adventures with Muffin. Work wont be the same without you, we’re already missing your smile and laugh.
Sending Barb so many hugs and love, you two were adorable together and Don was so lucky to have you by his side, especially on his bad days.

Sorry we will not be able to attend Don’s service as we are in Queensland, actually near Don’s favourite place Boulia. We have fond memories of Don as a fellow active member of the Hazelwood Nth Fire Brigade. In the early days he was actively involved in all facets of fire fighting and as time went on he became one of the founding members of the brigade weather trailer team. Don was a very active participant in the annual Christmas Eve Santa run and had great joy in decorating the trucks and enjoyed the actual lolly runs. The Brigade was fortunate to have his involvement and generosity.
We have great memories. Ray and Mal Beaton
