Remember the “honeymoon” when Ray and Irene Hole and the kids and you and Bill and I all went to Mornington in January 1969. Nights of cards and charades and lots of laughs, You had been “called up” so we wanted to spend time with you. Memories last forever.

Driving in the train with you on the way to Melbourne. The first time I ever got drunk was at your wedding. You were always a down to earth uncle who called it as you saw it.
