Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Valley Village Aged Care, Newborough on May 28th, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Aged 93 years.
Dearly loved and loving husband of Audrey for 65 years.
Much loved father and father-in-law of Jenni (dec), Deb and Greg.
Adored grandad of Tony, Michael, Emily, Aidan, Great Granddad of Jeshua,
Ted, Harlow, Max Great great granddad of Theodore.
Loving brother-in-law of Ian and Kerin, Uncle to Duane, and Danielle.

Grandad, we will miss you. I still can’t play like Acker Bilk and I could probably still afford to lose a few pounds, but I will miss that roguish grin after being called out on starting a debate you didn’t really want to win. I still remember being up there on school holidays – porridge early in the morning after sleeping through your snores on a camper bed in the hall. I remember looking through your sketches and drawings, being shown the opals you had found up at the mines, playing darts in the backroom or pool at Christmas up at Ian and Kerin’s. Or just the conversations about the world that always were punctuated at regular intervals by a raised eyebrow and a chuckle… almost always by both of us. Goodbye Grandad, I love you.
