You are at peace now Furry. We all have so many fond memories happy memories that we’ll forever keep in our hearts. You will be so sadly missed by all. You brightened everyone’s day with your smile and those Hawaiian shirts. Never forgotten, RIP Furry. 😢

A true gentleman and a pleasure to have known him, if Furry hadn’t talked me into to playing squash I would have never had met my wife, he was our MC at our wedding and gave me some great fatherly advise on the day, you will be missed Furry.

Condolences to his family. Furry was a very kind and caring man who has secretly helped a few people out over the years, what a big heart he had.

He was one of the greatest role models I had growing up, he gave me opportunities for work, life advice and was a great friend. I will miss you mate. Rest well Furry

Furry you will be missed by a lot of people especially your family. I have so many memories that I will cherish, especially all the weekends away with squash and racquetball and the many pub crawls along the way and how can I forget the karaoke. You will never be forgotten.

Chris was a kind and gentle human being who will be missed by everyone who knew him. My wife Norma and I got to know him well when we worked together on a fund raiser at the theatre with the Nowa Nowa Men’s Choir. He was a real prince of a fellow, always in good humor.

Best memories….. A mentor to all…. Like father to so many…. Your a Legend Furry……Rest In Peace Mate.
Condolences to the whole family.

Without you running the Lakes Classic, Aleshia and I would not have been able to continuously catch up over the years. To have you with me and helping me proposing to her, getting the first hug off you and sharing a great moment. We are both forever grateful and always will be to you and your family.

You’re not just the life at any party, but brought out the best in the party we call life.

Also, nobody rocked a Hawaiian or loud shirt better than you, rock star!

Thank you for the memorable journey we had together old friend. Thank you to your family for sharing you with us all.

Always enjoyed talking movies with Chris at the Lakes Entrance Squash & Cinema Centre when I drove in from Paynesville. You showed movies in 3D when Bairnsdale didn’t. You liked my Hawaiian shirts too. There is no cinema in Lakes Entrance now after you sold the place.

So many great times had with Furry over many years. Always in for a good laugh and a good time. A lovely man gone way too soon but what wonderful memories he leaves for all who were lucky enough to have met him.

Furry THe 4 of us climbed Sydney harbour Bridge. Went on cruise to Cairns. (Heaps of food and pina coladas. )also the the QTrain had a blast .great memories great laughs.will miss u mate. Gunsser and arge

Furry was an absolute legend. Always welcoming when we would come up for the Lakes Racquetball Classic. He was a laugh to watch on the court and a true gentleman. Very sad to hear of his passing.

On behalf of the Australian Racquetball Association and the general racquetball community, I’d like to acknowledge and pay respect to the significant impact Furry had on our sport over many decades, both as a court owner and player. His passion, sense of humour and outlandish antics will be remembered fondly by everyone who met him. He will be greatly missed

Your footprint on so many lives inside the Squash and Racquetball community and outside was profound!
You are always in our hearts and provide a smile in our memories…. you always made sport fun!

Condolences to family. Many fun memories around the squash scene. Inspiring especially while making cocktails and hosting pre dinner drinks. Great times have been had and beautiful when he captained the Gippsland team to a Hopman Cup win.!
