December 4, 2021Roy wascacgreat story teller and joke deliverer but morecthan that, he had a big heart and was never too busy to help anyone who needed it. The world will be a little colder, a little smaller, and a little lesser, without Roy in it. Rest in peace, Roy. Love and condolences to Julie and Penny. Lynne and John Brehaut.
December 4, 2021What a generous and happy man. Roy came to the assistance of his brother John and they both did a a lot of work in fencing here at Garfield North after the early 2019 fire destroyed all our farm infrastructure. Perhaps his greatest impact to us came over the many months of giving his time and toil and the accompanying jokes and stories did a lot to raise our spirits when we most needed it. And he loved apple pie with cream and ice cream, beaming and laughing as he anticipated another helping at the next visit.
December 4, 2021A true friend is never truly gone. Their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them. They say friends are the family we choose. Roy was one of my chosen family and very special person. Loved by everybody. I will miss his jokes and our conversations. May he rest in peace Our deepest sympathies and condolences to Julie, Penny and the rest of the Franklin family. Your friends Tony and Josie
