Fond memories of joining Nola and Kev with the family at the Labor Day tennis tournament in Tralagon. We were well looked after and Nola baked up a storm and occasionally the girls were allowed to join the production line! Many celebrations over the years but the week before Christmas was always a highlight with the “Fitzsimon clan” getting together for a catch up.. So sad to hear the news of Nola’s passing. She was such a lovely lady, always talking about her devoted family. I’m sure Kevin will welcome her with open arms. She missed him so much.

My sincere condolences to Catherine, Julianne, Elizabeth. Andrew, Matthew, David, Michael, Paul and their partners and children.
Nola was a loving mother, devoted wife and a great role model. Nola and Kevin were a great support to me and I will always be grateful for their help and guidance in my time of need.
I am unable to attend the funeral but I will be watching on live stream.

Nola – my darling “Nellie”
We met as young teenagers in Stawell and became sisters. This was where we met and married our beloved young boys – Kevin and Jim.
We shared our lives and children together, mainly through our letters and photos.

My condolences to the Fitzsimon family. Nola and Kevin were a lovely warm couple. I knew Nola and Kevin mainly because of my daughter’s interest in music and study of piano. Whenever I met Nola she would talk of her children and how proud she was of them. They will miss her greatly.

Nola’s friendliness to everyone was always accompanied by her beautiful smile. She was a wonderful encourager to those associated with the Latrobe orchestra in which Kevin was leader for so many years. Kevin’s and Nola’s lives are now remembered together with high regard and appreciation.

What a lovely couple Nola and Kevin made together. Nola was a gentle and kind strong lady. She was so very proud of her family and loved to share about them. Nola, being of such faith will be enjoying being with Kevin again. Sincere condolences to all of her loved ones… That lovely smile will remain with anyone who knew her, and I will never forget Kevin playing his violin in the orchestra with Nola watching with that smile.
