It was our great pleasure to know you but an absolute privilege to watch you grow up alongside our Josh, and all the shenanigans that you got up to together. The only grace at this sad time is knowing that you are now with your dad & will watch over your girls, mum & siblings.

All my love and condolences to the Fergus and family. When I think of you guys I think of all the fun times my children had with yours. All the funny things that Bernie used to do and say and all the times Rose babysat the children all the fun times fishing building birthday parties school after schools commitments. I have so many photos and memories of all the Fergusons and Damian was such a special boy strong minded, strong willed and full of life a real little character and grew into such a beautiful young man and adore his wife Anne and he’s beautiful daughter Scout all our love Kesper family❤️❤️

So sorry to hear of Damian’s passing. So sad for you all especially at such a young age. Seems so unfair.

I first met Damian when he transferred to St Paul’s in Year 10 and he immediately made an impression. He arrived with a personality larger than life – in height, volume, and spirit. Unapologetically himself.

I admired the way Damian treated people. He had little interest in social stereotypes or cliques and seemed to approach every person he met as a potential friend.

Over the years, it was wonderful to see the life he built: his wide range of skills, hobbies, and interests, the adventures, and most importantly, the deeply loving family and friends that surrounded him. It was especially beautiful to witness the love he shared with Anna and to see how fiercely and wholeheartedly they loved one another. Life was unfair, but together they faced it with remarkable courage and determination.

Damian’s ability to light up a room, and his gift for connecting with people will remain a lasting part of the memories so many of us carry. I feel fortunate that our paths crossed, to have shared a chapter in his journey and grateful for the positive influence he had on my life.

My thoughts are with Anna, Scout, Rose, his siblings Josie, Cat and Patrick, and all those who loved him.
