ENGUELL, Gladys May (née Whaley)

Born on December 21, 1930. Passed away October 14, 2022.

Passed peacefully at BUPA Aged Care in Traralgon on 14th October 2022, after a long battle with dementia.

Loved wife of Fred (deceased), loved mother of Kevin and Geoffrey, loved mother-in-law of Diane and Caroline, and treasured “nanny” of Sheree, Alicia, Daniel and Tyler.

Mum, thanks for a lifetime of love and support. You were such a proud and determined woman. While you will be sadly missed, you have finally found peace. Love Kev.

 

Many loving memories of times shared. A proud, caring, quiet-natured and determined lady, now at rest. Love Diane.

 

Nanny, I am grateful that you are now at peace and can finally rest. You have been in my heart and mind. I will cherish my memories of you when I was growing up. Love Sheree.

 

Nanny, I am so lucky to have had you in my life. I aspire to have half the strength and courage you had. A fighter until the end. You will always be in my heart. Love Alicia.

The funeral service for Mrs Gladys Enguell Will be held in the Rose Chapel of the Gippsland Memorial Park Crematorium, Cemetery Drive Traralgon on Friday (October 21st, 2022) at 10.am

In lieu of flowers donations to Dementia Australia would be appreciated, envelopes available at the service

  7. Nanny, I am grateful that you are now at peace as I would never wish your last 6 years upon anyone. You have been in my heart & mind daily.

    I will always cherish my memories of you when I was growing up. You were an elegant, proud and a very independent lady, always with something to say which could be quite amusing at times.

    Thank you for all the hugs, smiles and the twinkle in your eyes. Hopefully now you can look back on the years I’ve so very much wanted to share with you while you now watch down on us with Poppy.

    I will miss you dearly but while it hurts to say goodbye so many memories remain and make me smile as i recall them.
