EASTHAM – Robert Anthony (Jock)

Born on February 4, 1948. Passed away July 27, 2019.

Passed away peacefully amongst his loving family.

Son of Anthony and Eileen Eastham (dec), brother to Janette and Patricia (dec).
Dearly beloved husband of 50 Years to Sylvia. Much loved Father and Father-in-law to Mark & Cassandra, Deborah & Mark. Adored and cherished Poppy of Calan, Jedd, Alexander, Daisy, Xavier, Jorja, Lacey and Christopher. Always there when needed and loved so much, you will be eternally missed and fondly remembered.

Jock’s warm nature, charismatic charm, endearing smile and zest for life meant, that all who spent time with him came away a better version of themselves. His boyish allure underpinned an astute business man that demanded perfection from himself, building such respect amongst his peers that his word became his bond.

You were the greatest Husband, Father and Poppy we could have ever wished for. We looked up to and inspired to be like you and will continue to do so. We’ve cherished every moment we spent together, whether it was side-by-side or talking on the phone. We understood each other and respected who we were to one another, you never judged us and was there to provide an ear or an everlasting word when we needed it the most.

The pain of losing you will last a while, but the legacy you have left will last a lifetime, be proud of who you were one-eyed magpie, fly with the angels, as you deserve the eternal happiness that awaits the brightest soul we’ve ever known.
